When to go to a DC rooftop bar

DC's best rooftop weather runs from late April through October. Summer nights (June–August) are warm enough to stay out late comfortably. Spring and fall evenings can get cool — bring a layer for anything after 10pm. Most rooftop venues move programming indoors or close outdoor spaces during rain and in the winter months.
